Why Am I Seeing "Service Restricted to Purchase Country"?

"Service restricted to the purchase country. Your subscription can only be used in the country where it was originally purchased."

If you are seeing the message above, your profile is linked to a subscription that was purchased in a different country. Please read below to understand why this happens and what to do next.

What does this message mean?

We’ve identified unusual behavior on your OSN+ account, which might indicate a violation of our Terms of Use. This includes actions such as:

  • Using a subscription purchased in one country while residing in or primarily streaming from another. OSN+ subscription plans are priced per country and must align with your actual country of residence. Activating a plan in a lower-priced country and using it elsewhere violates our Terms of Use.
  • Sharing or selling account profiles to individuals outside your household or close family. This includes purchasing or using a profile from a third party or reseller.

According to our Terms of Use:

"You may not distribute or make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. You may not transfer, redistribute or sublicense the App."

What actions do I need to take?
To resolve this issue:

  1. Create a new account using a valid email address.
  2. Ensure that your subscription plan aligns with your country of residence.
  3. Refrain from sharing or selling profiles to others, as this is strictly prohibited.

To get started, visit osnplus.com or open the OSN+ app, tap Sign Up, and choose the subscription plan available in your country.

Can I transfer my content or watchlist?
Unfortunately, watchlists and viewing history are tied to the original account and cannot be transferred to a new account.
